Product Return Policy (PRP)

General Information

These are Memory4less.net ("Memory4Less", "we" or "our") Standard Return Policies applicable only to products purchased by you directly from the Memory4Less.net website.

All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.  You may obtain an RMA number by contacting Memory4less.net Customer Service through any of the methods provided at www.memory4less.net

Products that are not eligible for return and will be sent back to you at your cost and expense if received by us:

  Any product not purchased from Memory4less.net

  Any product without a valid, readable serial number, including but not limited to products with missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial number

  Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product

  Any product from which the UPC code has been removed from its packaging

  Any product that exhibits physical damage

  Any product for which you have submitted a mail-in rebate

Guidelines for Exchanges or Refunds

In our experience the cases where exchange and refund issues arise may be due to one of the following reasons (mentioned below). The exchange and refunds policy is not limited to and can extent to other scenarios and circumstances; which may or may not be covered below. Each application for exchange/refunds is investigated and scrutinized to identify the error, authenticity of the claim and specifications ordered.

When buying retail versions of a product, you may receive additional accessories, retail packaging, bundled software and warranty coverage. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), versions on the other hand, will contain the product and seldom include the drivers. Because they are packaged generically, you should not expect to receive any additional accessories or bundled software. OEM products best benefit system builders who don't really need any documentation or bundled accessories.

Note: OEM CPU's carry a 21 day defective exchange only warranty. We do not accept refunds on CPU's under any circumstances. New CPU's in retail packaging must be exchanged directly from the manufacturer. Please verify that you are buying a CPU that your motherboard will support.

If your product is a replacement part, spare, used, open, open box, like new product and your product is not a CPU/processor and you are beyond the initial 10 days of requesting an exchange but within 30 days of your initial purchase, please click here to request for an Exchange RMA. Restocking and pricing changes may apply depending on the availability of replacement parts.

How can I get an RMA number?

 

Please click here to obtain an RMA number online. You will need your original sales order or invoice to begin the RMA process. The Sales Order number given to you at the time of your purchase. If you are finding difficulties obtaining the RMA number online, please call 1-800-821-3354 (Option 3) between 9:00AM to 3:00PM PST Monday - Friday.

 

To what address should I send my returns?

 

All returns must have a valid RMA Number clearly marked on the outside of the box. Please use a shipping service where tracking of the shipment is possible.

Again, please be sure to have the RMA number clearly visible on the outside of the package being sent. Please note that unidentifiable packages (e.g. not clearly marked RMA numbers) are generally refused by our receiving department and returned back to sender.

 

In exchange for my RMA item, can I get a totally different product?

 

Our returns and exchange policy allows us to only replace an RMA item with a similar or identical replacement. Therefore, we do not exchange RMA items for different items. If your product warranty period has not yet expired, and the product you have is not working, you can enter a request for an exchange and we will be glad to help get a working product out to you.

 

Must I include every individual accessory in my returns when RMA'ing?

 

In order for Memory4Less.net to process your RMA you must return all software, manuals, original packaging, cables, wires, accessories that came with your order. We cannot process a return for items shipped back to us that are incomplete.

 

How long does it take for my credit to appear on my credit card or debit card?

 

When we issue credit, it may take up to 5 working days for it to show on your banking records. For some credits it may take longer than 5 days.

 

I have already shipped the items to Memory4Less.net My RMA Status page display doesn't show you have received it?

 

Please call your shipper and have the package tracked. At times although we may receive your return, it may take up to 5 working days to process the return. Once received, you will find that your RMA status will be marked as "In-Process." If you do not receive any information about your return issues within 5 working days of our confirmed receipt of your package, please call at 1-800-821-3354 (Option 3) 9:30AM to 5:00PM Monday - Friday PST or email us at support@memory4less.net to obtain status.

 

Are there any types of parts in particular that Memory4Less.net does not take back?

The items that you order may fall into categories with limited warranties available on them. This is how we buy them to resell and hence this is what we can offer as warranty on those items. Exception warranty issues will appear on the product page as well as on your invoice, so please review these carefully. If you are still not sure please call us and consult with our sales staff at 1-800-821-3354 (Option 1).

In general 3D Memory parts you buy from the Memory4Less.net website carry a Lifetime warranty. 

Parts other than these may be new parts or replacement parts. The new items will carry the manufacturer warranty and you must deal with the manufacturer of those items directly.

Replacement parts you must act quickly and abide by the terms and conditions of refund and exchange in the refund and exchange sections of this Site to avoid losing the option to get a replacement or refund.
